Malaysia Drop One Spot In FIFA Ranking

KUALA LUMPUR, April 11 (Bernama) -- Malaysia dropped one spot to stay at No. 142 according to the latest world rankings issued by FIFA (Federation of International Football Associations). The drop was due to lack of A Class international matches because the last international match played by Malaysia was on March 1, against the Philippines which ended in a 1-1 draw. The position puts Malaysia on par with teams like Belize (143), India (145) Kyrgyzstan and Puerto Rico (147) and Liechtenstein (149). Among Asean countries, Malaysia is behind Vietnam (116) and Thailand (140). --BERNAMA
