Malaysia To Send Men's And Women's Teams To World Kabbadi C'ships

KUALA TERENGGGANU (Terengganu, Malaysia), Dec 23 (Bernama) -- Malaysia will be sending a men's and women's team to compete in the World Kabbadi Championships in Faradabat, India from Dec 26 to 30. National team manager Suriani Mohamad said the Malaysian delegation would comprise 10 men and 10 women. "From the team members selected, 11 are from Terengganu and the rest from Johor and Federal Territory," she told Bernama after the flag handing ceremony, here Tuesday by Jabi state assemblyman Mohd Iskandar Jaafar. According to Suriani, the Malaysian kabaddi was a component of all races, just in line with the 1Malaysia concept. -- BERNAMA
