MMA federation formed

Manama, June 26 (BNA): The Bahrain Mixed Martial Arts Federation was officially declared today, with Col. Khalid Abdulaziz Al Khayyat named as the first president of the new board of directors. Other members of the board include Waleed Sayyar, Fawaz Shamsan, Obada Ramadan, Abdulrahman Al Ali, Isa Al Hasan and Yousef Al Kooheji. The decision was issued by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports Chairman, and Bahrain Olympic Committee President.
