MONGOLIAN TEAM LEADS FIRST ASIA MEMORY CHAMPIONSHIPS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian national team of 20 intellectual athletes took part in the First Asia Memory Championships, held on August 22 and 23, to compete in three age categories and ten classifications. The team grabbed 37 medals out of the total 63, and ranked at first place. The competition attracted 119 intellectual athletes from 13 different countries. According to the final results, the International Grand Master O.Sengesamdan became the Asian Champion, having won six gold and two solver medals. With 7,141 points scored in this competition, he is now ranking at fifth place in the world among over 3,000 athletes throughout the world. Mongolians satisfied the first and second places in category of adults, second and third places in teenage category, and a second place in the juniors’ category.
