Muraaqib wins Al Rayyan Cup - Prix Kesberoy In Deauville

Paris, August 15 (QNA) -Muraaqibs jockey, Christophe Soumillon on Saturday kept his horse at the heart of the race and managed to take the lead when entering the last straight. He kept detaching himself from the lot to take the advantage on his rivals. Muraaqib had finished second in the Qatar Coupe de France des Chevaux Arabes (Gr1 PA) in Chantilly in May, behind Mabrooka. His trainer, Francois Rohaut, said: "He is one of the best Purebred Arabian horses I have trained. We knew that over 2.000m he would be extremely difficult to beat. He is a very nice and good horse. He should be going towards Saint-Cloud (France)."(QNA)
