Najib Wants Harimau Malaya To Have Strong Fighting Spirit

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 20 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Razak has expressed confidence that the 'Harimau Malaya' squad is capable of lifting the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup in the match against Thailand Saturday night. "I believe the Harimau Malaya squad has the capability to win the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup. Play with a strong fighting spirit. "Malaysians are praying that the Malaysian team will succeed in redeeming the loss in Bangkok recently and display a great and excellent match. Insyallah," he said. Najib said this in a video clip entitled 'Words of inspiration from the Prime Minister to the Harimau Malaya squad for the final of the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup' which was uploaded in the YouTube. Malaysia will face Thailand in the second leg of the 2014 AFF Suzuki Cup final at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium at 8pm Saturday night. Malaysia lost 0-2 to Thailand in the first leg of the final match at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok, last Wednesday. The Harimau Malaya squad would be playing in the final of the 2014 edition of the championship after having played in 1996 and 2010.
