Nasser Al Attiyah Wins Pharaon's Rally

Cairo, May 16 (QNA) - Nasser bin Saleh Al Attiyah won Saturday the 32nd edition of the Pharaon's Rally. The Qatari driver finished the fourth round of the Cross Country Rally in 14 hours and two seconds. It is Al Attiyah's second win this season after winning the Sealine Rally in his hometown. Saudi Yazid Al Rajhi and Vladimir Basiliev came second and third respectively. They failed to challenge the leadership of Nasser Al Attiyah, that summed an advantage 10 minutes. In the T2 category, HE Sheikh Hamad bin Eid Al-Thani couldn't hold on to the lead and ended up in third place. In the quad category Mohammed Abu Issa, strong of twelve minutes over the Polish Rafal Sonik , today only had to manage it to ensure his final victory. Beyond the winner of the last Dakar, together with him on the podium the French Antoine Lecomte. (QNA)
