New Zealand Olympic Committee President Visits Qatar Aspire Academy

Doha, September 02 (QNA) - The President of the New Zealand Olympic Committee Michael Rowland Stanley, expressed his admiration for Aspire Academy and its international facilities. After a comprehensive tour, Aspire Academy Director of Sport Markus Egger briefed the President of the New Zealand Olympic Committee on the academy and its vision, while Stanley expressed his admiration of Qatar's national sport academy. Stanley used the chance to visit Aspire Academy to discuss opportunities for future collaboration with Aspire Academy Director General Ivan Bravo. "I have travelled a lot and seen many places but Aspire is truly unique. The philosophy of combining sport and education under one roof combined with exceptional facilities and international know-how is really impressive and is definitely enabling these young Qatari athletes to thrive" said Stanley.
