Newcastle United latest to use Dubai Sports City’s world-class football facilities

Dubai, 28 January 2015 (WAM): Newcastle United players have been using the football facilities at the Sports Village, joining Swansea City and West Ham United from the English Premier League, who have both previously used the facility for training purposes. The Newcastle squad, faced with wintery weather back home in the north of England, made full use of the grass and artificial pitches, and had access to the Indoor Dome which contains a full-sized FIFA-approved artificial surface. Reflecting on the visit, Dubai Sports City President, Khalid Al Zarooni, said, "It was a pleasure to have Newcastle United with us, using all that we have to offer.
