No 2 favourite of Baku Cup 2014 defeated in race of doubles

Baku, July 23 (AzerTAc). In the competition of doubles in "Baku Cup 2014" the duo of Janette Husarova (SVK)/Klaudia Jans-Ignachik (POL) stopped their struggle. In the match of 1/8 finals the duo of Janette Husarova (SVK)/Klaudia Jans-İgnachik (POL) faced the duo of Franceska Schiavone (ITA)/Stefanie Voegele (SUI). Husarova and Jans-Ignachik who started the match in a more confident manner, built their superiority over the rivals in the first set and won by 6-3. Nevertheless, in the second set everything went vice-versa. Schiavone and Voegele increased their pressure and won the set 6-4 thus making the score of the match 1-1. In the last set where the winner was identified Schiavone and Voegele did not leave any chance for their opponents and won the set 10-2. With this victory they made the score 2-1 becoming the winners of the match. We note that Schiavone and Voegele have not yet lost in singles.
