O.GUNDEGMAA WINS SILVER MEDAL AT WORLD CUP

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Hero of Labour and a silver medalist of Olympics O.Gundegmaa won October 23 silver medal at the Shooting World Cup finals in Gabala of Azerbaijan. She satisfied this success in a 25-meter sports pistol category. She reached the final match, earning 583 points and ranking at third place from the 11 world-class shooters who competed in this category. In the semi-final, she had scored 21 points, then was challenged for the gold medal against the World Cup winner Monica Karsch from Germany. The latter won the gold medal with 7:3 points, the third place went to World and Asian champion Chinese Zian Jinzing. Ms Gundegmaa has one gold and three bronze medals of the World Cups.
