One more great victory from Francesca Schiavone

Baku, July 24 (AzerTAc). Schiavone plays spectacularly in "Baku Cup 2014". Despite Francesca Schiavone of Italy is not considered one of the favourites of the tournament, her experience and rich career psychologically influenced her opponents thus allowing her to have superiority. Schiavone played a magnificent match with Julia Glushko of Israel in 1/8 finals. 24-year-old Glushko who is ranked 102th in the world seriously struggled against 34-year-old Schiavone. The Italian player who better played in the first set won it 6:3. The second set lasted till the tie-break. Schiavone who played in a more precise way here won the set 7:6 and the match 2-0. Francesca Schiavone who moved on to 1/4 final with a grandiose victory kind of frightened her opponents showing how much ambitious he was to become a champion. Her next rival will be the winner of the match between Kristina Mladenovic(FRA) and Donna Vekic (CRO).
