Organizing Committee of Qatar 2015 Signs Agreement with QNB

Doha, September 07 (QNA) - The Qatar 2015 Men's Handball World Championship Organizing Committee announced that Qatar National Bank (QNB) will be a Prestige Partner for the 24th Men's Handball World Championship, set to take place in Doha next year. The agreement was signed by Dr. Thani Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, Director General, Qatar 2015 Organizing Committee, and Ali Ahmed Al Kuwari, Acting Group Chief Executive Officer, QNB, at a press conference held on the first day of the IHF Super Globe, a major handball competition being hosted in Qatar this week, at the all-new Qatar Handball Association Complex on Sunday, September 07. As a Prestige Sponsor, QNB will provide essential support for the Men's Handball World Championship, which will engage the whole community and welcome teams and fans from around the world. The agreement will provide QNB with significant visibility including coverage on several key placements at the championship's venues, which will be featured in international broadcasts when the competition begins. Dr. Thani Abdulrahman Al Kuwari, Director General, Qatar 2015 Organizing Committee, said: "We are working closely with Qatars leading companies to ensure that Qatar 2015 is a landmark sports event for our nation and to ensure that every spectator enjoys a unique sporting experience.
