Pervak failed again, Savchuk is happy with her resolute victory

Baku, July 21 (AzerTAc). Qualifying matches are going on the second day of "Baku Cup 2014". Olga Savchuk of Ukraine and Kseniya Pervak of Russia who completed yesterday with victories faced each other today in the Court 1. Pervak ranked 141 in the world was in a dominant position against her rival ranked 215 throughout the match. The Russian tennis player did not leave any chance to her rival in the first set and won 6-0. The second set went on in a different way. Pervak who started this set dominantly could count 4 consequent score and was ahead 4-0. Following this, Savchuk spent serious efforts to make a turn in the game. First, she got three points one after another and made the score 3-4. Despite Pervak won the next point in the game and made the score 5-3, Savchuk was not discouraged and won the following 2 points in a row and made the score 5-5. The winner was identified in the tie-break. Savchuk increasing her dominance won the set 7-6 and made the overall score 1-1. In the third set Olga Savchuk became the only overwhelming party and was ahead of her rival due to all parameters. She revenged for the first two sets and won the set 6-0 and the match 2-1. It was her willable victory. Thereby, Savchuk became the third player who won the right to play in the main draw. Misfortune continued for Pervak in Baku. Pervak who had to terminate her performance in the qualifying stage similarly to 2012, will look forward to future tournaments.
