PM admires first Thai female boxer qualified for Olympics

BANGKOK, May 26 (TNA) - Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-ocha admires a Thai female boxer,"Piamwilai Laopiam" who is the first Thai athlete being qualified for the Olympics 2016 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, during August 5-21. Government Spokesman Major General Sansern Kaewkamnerd told journalists on Thursday that the prime minister has praised the Thai female amateur boxer for her strong spirit and determination. The spokesman quoted the prime minister as advising Piamwilai, nicked named "Nong Saeb", to be well-prepared, patient and wait for the right moments in each round of her fights on the Olympics stage, while he, himself, and all other Thais will definitely cheer and give her full moral support. According to the spokesman, the prime minister also advised the Thai female boxer to take good care of her health and weight to meet the Olympics criteria and to be ready for her fights during the upcoming Summer Olympics.
