PUPILS SUCCEED IN ASIAN CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 10th Asian Junior Chess Championship ran this August 24-29 in Taichung city of Taiwan at which our players have won three gold, six silver and two bronze medals. Our chess team of 29 pupils from general education schools have won these 11 medals and also some prized places. All the participants, except for age-5 players, have satisfied conditions of candidate master (CM and WCM) titles of the World Chess Federation (FIDE). The medalists are: under age 5(boys): a gold medalist dal” Bayarjavkhlan, under age 5(girls): a silver medalist Odmaa, age 6-7(boys): a bronze medalist Ochirbat, age 6-7(girls): a gold medalist Enkhsaran and others.
