Doha, December 10 (QNA) - The Coach of the Netherlands national team Louis van Gaal expressed disappointment as his country failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 after losing to his Argentine counterpart on penalties 4-3 following a 2-2 draw in the normal playing time and extra time, announcing the end of his mission with the Dutch team. In the post-match press conference, Louis van Gaal said the team presented a very good level in the match, especially in the second half, except that they made some mistakes that cost them two goals, but they changed a lot of things, including the way they play, and they attacked intensively and showed a strong reaction which enabled them to get back into the game very late, adding, that the match went to penalties, and they were unlucky and lost the match.
