Qatar and France Sign Cooperation Agreement in Sports Field

Doha , February 01 (QNA) - The State of Qatar and France signed Sunday a cooperation agreement on sports field in the presence of HE the Minister of Youth and Sports, Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali and HE French Ambassador to Qatar Eric Chevallier . In a press conference held at the Aspire After signing the agreement, the minister praised the great integration between Qatar and France at both sports and youth levels , noting to Qatar's keenness on the signing of the agreement due to its positive impacts on the health, social and economic and tourism domains. He pointed to the deep-rooted cooperation and wide strides made by the two countries, affirming that the signing of the agreement will contribute to positive results in various fields. The Minister expressed his thanks to the French State Secretary for Sport Affairs, stressing that the French companies' keenness to transfer knowledge Qatari youth. Under the cooperation agreement on sports field , which was signed today the two countries to educate and train the high performance athletes, professional and coaches in science and applied technology, medicine sports and to participate in international sports that will be held in the two countries in addition to their efforts in encouraging economic cooperation in the sports field . The agreement also stipulates that the two countries to organize international sports events and encourage the public to follow-up them and to construct facilities and equipment sports in addition to develop the sports policy for school sports , women's sports and to encourage people with disabilities to participate in physical activity and the fight against doping and match-fixing.
