Qatar Beach Volleyball Team Advances to 9th Place in World Ranking

Doha, January 12 (QNA) - Qatar beach volleyball team, made up of the duo Sharif Younis and Ahmed Tijan, has advanced in the FIVB World Ranking, rising to the 9th place from the 10th place. The Qatari team collected 4440 points after participating in 18 international and continental tournaments. They claimed the title of Qatar AVC Masters held at Aspire Zone last November. Christian Sorum and Anders Mol of Norway led the standings with 5690 points. (QNA)
