Qatar Beat Palestine (3-0) in Preparation for AFC Asian Cup

Doha, September 12 (QNA) - Qatar defeated Palestine 3-0 in an international friendly match in Doha on Tuesday in preparations for the AFC Asian Cup finals, which will be held in the UAE next year. Al Moez Ali, Hassan Al Haydos and Akram Afif scored for Qatar in (2, 20 and 30) minutes. The victory is the second for the Qatari team respectively after the first win on China (1-0) last Friday, as part of the program preparation for the continental championship, which also includes two friendly matches, the first against Ecuador on October 12 in Doha, and the second against Uzbekistan in October 6 in the Uzbek capital Tashkent. Qatar will play in Group E Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and North Korea, while Palestine is in Group B with Australia, Syria and Jordan. (QNA)
