Qatar Defeat Iran in Second Handball Match

Doha, October 11 (QNA) - Qatar handball team beat Iranian counterpart 29-17 in a second match held on Thursday between the two teams in the framework of their preparations for the Asian qualifiers for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020), which will be held in Doha from October 17 to 26. Qatar handball team secured 36-18 win over Iranian counterpart in the first test match last Tuesday. Thursday's match was the final test of the Qatari team before the qualifying matches for the Olympic Games (Tokyo 2020). The Qatari team will play in the qualifying first group which includes Saudi Arabia, India and Hong Kong, while Iran will play in the second group against Kuwait, Bahrain and South Korea. (QNA)
