Qatar to Face Japan in Qualifying for 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup on Friday

Tokyo, November 30 (QNA) - The Qatari basketball team will face their Japanese counterpart in the Japanese city of Toyama, on Friday in the third round of the second round of the Asian qualifiers for the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup in China. The Qatari team are seeking to win in order to maintain their chances of qualifying for the World Cup after losing two rounds in the first round against Australia (43-95) and then in the second round against the Philippines (81-92). After tomorrow's match , the Qatari team will travel to Australia, where they will play the second game against Australia in Melbourne on Monday in the fourth round, and then compete with Philippine counterparts on February 21 in Doha in the fifth round, and will face Japan on February 24 in Doha in the sixth round and final round of the second round of the Asian qualifying.
