Qatar Handball Team Lose to Croatia in Fiendly

Zagreb, January 06 (QNA) - Qatar handball team suffered a 28-33 defeat at the hands of Croatia in the friendly international championship concluded in Zagreb on Sunday. In their match, Qatar defeated Bosnia Herzegovina 30-27. Qatar's participation in the friendly championship comes in light of the preparations for the 19th Asian Handball Championship, to be held in Kuwait from 16 to 27 January. The event also serves as a qualifier for the world championship that in Egypt in 2021. Qatar were pooled in Group B at the Asian Championship alongside Japan and China. They will start their campaign on January 16 with the match against China. (QNA)
