Qatar to Participate National Junior National Volleyball

Doha, July 18 (QNA) - Qatar Junior National Volleyball Team will participate in the 13th Arab Volleyball Championship, scheduled to be held in Morocco from August 4 to 15. Drawing of the Championship's lots will be held next Tuesday at the Bahrain-based headquarters of the Arab Volleyball Association (AVA). Twelve teams will participate in the championship namely Bahrain, Morocco, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Egypt, Tunisia and Libya. Lebanon has officially apologized. The teams were divided into two groups. The draw of the lots will be held in the presence of representatives of the participating Arab federations and the general secretariat of the Arab Volleyball Association. In a related development, Qatar Beach Volleyball Team will take part the in 24th Arab Championship which will be hosted by Jordan from 26 July to the first of August. Taking part in the competition are 20 teams from Jordan, Morocco, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Sudan. Ten teams from Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Egypt and Sudan will take part in the women's championship.(QNA)
