Qatar to Play Several Friendlies to Prepare for 2019 Asian Cup

Doha, August 30 (QNA) - Qatar football team will play several friendly matches as preparations for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, which will be held in the UAE from January 5 to February 1. Qatar plays in Group E of the Asian Cup alongside with Lebanon, North Korea, and Saudi Arabia. Qatar national team will play two friendly matches in September, against China on September 7 and Palestine on September 11. Both matches will be held at Khalifa International Stadium in Doha. In October, Qatar will play with Ecuador on October 12 in Doha and Uzbekistan on October 16 in Tashkent. Qatar national team held a preparatory camp in Austria ahead of the start of the season, during which the team played two friendlies. The preparation program for Qatar national team includes several friendlies and camps during the coming period. (QNA)
