Qatar Riders Win Bronze in Jumping Team of 18th Asian Games

Jakarta, August 28 (QNA) - Qatar riders won the bronze medal in jumping team competition of the 18th Asian Games, held currently in Jakarta, Indonesia, until September 2. Qatar's team comprised of Sheikh Ali bin Khaled Al-Thani, Basem Hassan, Hamad Al Attiayah and Salmen Al Suwaidi claimed the third place after the Saudi team who won the first place with the gold and the Japanese team finished second and won the silver. The Qatari riders have unique results during their participation in the Asian Games, where they won the gold medal in the Doha Asian Games in 2006 and after that achieved many international and regional titles. They also performed well in the last Asian Games in South Korea when they won the gold of the jumping team competition. (QNA)
