Qatar Volleyball Team to Face India, Azerbaijan in Friendlies

Doha, May 26 (QNA) - Qatar's national volleyball team will play two friendlies against India and Azerbaijan within the team's preparations for the 2018 Asian Men's Volleyball Cup, which will be held in Chinese Taipei from Aug. 8 to 15.
The first match against India will be played in June, followed by Azerbaijan in July when both national teams train in Doha as part of their preparations for future events.
The national team trains on a daily basis at Qatar Volleyball Association under the supervision of head coach Massimiliano Giaccardi.
Qatar will play in Group C of the Asian Men's Volleyball Cup alongside Vietnam, Australia and Thailand.
The national team kick off their participation when they take on Vietnam on Aug. 8 before playing Thailand the following day and wrapping up the group stage against Australia on Aug. 10. (QNA)
