Qatar Youth Handball Team Take on Jordan in Asia Cup Quarterfinal

Doha, July 25 (QNA) - Qatar's national youth handball team will take on their Jordanian counterpart in the quarterfinal of the Asian championship, currently underway in Amman as part of the fixtures of Group A, which also includes Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. The Qatari team head into the clash aiming to continue their winning streak, which started at the first game of the tournament as The Maroon qualified for the quarterfinals as winners of Group D, marching on towards a title that they won in three previous occasions. In the first round, Qatar beat China 36-20 and overcame Iraq 23-15. (QNA)
