Qatari Athletes Top Speed Races at Youth Olympic

Buenos Aires, October 14 (QNA) - Qatari athletes Awab Baro and Abdul Aziz Mohamed topped the first round of the speed races with the hurdles competitions of the Youth Olympic Games, which is held in Buenos Aires and continues until October 18 with the participation of 4,000 players in 32 sports. Abdul Aziz Mohamed came first at the first round of the 200m race and scored a new personal figure as he finished the race in 21.20 seconds. Awab Baro topped the first round of the 110m hurdles and also scored a new personal figure of 13.33 seconds to lead the overall race. The total score in the two rounds for the players will determine the top position holders. (QNA)
