Qatari League Clubs Start Preparations for QSL Cup

Doha, September 04 (QNA) - QNB Stars League clubs have launched their preparation for QSL Cup tournament, which starts on Friday with the opening of the first round matches over two days. Some of the clubs started their training as part of their preparations for the tournament, while other clubs will resume their preparations for the tournament which will witness the absence of Qatari international players who are preparing to play friendly against China and Palestine in the coming days, and foreign players will also be absent from their national teams. Al Arabi and Al Rayyan clubs resumed their training, with the participation of international players. The first group matches of QSL Cup will be played on Friday, where Al-Duhail will play Al Kharaitiyat and Umm Salal will play against Al Arabi, while Al-Gharafa will face Qatar SC. The first round will be closed on Saturday with the second group matches, Al Sadd will play to Al-Shahaniya, Al Rayyan will compete against Al Ahli and Al Sailiya will play against Al Khor. (QNA)
