Qatari Teams Arrive in Indonesia Ahead of Asian Games

Jakarta, August 12 (QNA) - Qatari teams start arriving to Indonesia to take part in the 18th Asian Games, which will take place from August 17 to September 2.
The organizing committee said that athletes from 45 Asian countries playing 40 different games will take part this year. Qatar participates this year with a large delegation of 478 participants from administrators, technicians, official delegation, media and 222 athletes and athletes. The athletes will take part in 30 events, 24 of which will be in Jakarta and the other six in Palembang.
The games Qatar will participate in during its stay in Jakarta will be: football, handball, basketball 3*3, athletics, diving, swimming, table tennis, equestrian, boxing, wrestling, weightlifting, Judo, Karate, cycling, golfing, as well as many other games.
