Qatar's Ahmed Dheeb Win Bronze in Asian Games Discus Throw

Incheon, September 30 (QNA) - Qatar's Ahmed Dheeb claimed the bronze medal in discus throw at the Asian Games here on Tuesday. Dheeb thus made amends for his failure at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, where he was disqualified from the competition. "I tried my best to get the gold, but the competition was very tough," said the 29-year-old, who had a best throw of 61.25M in his sixth and last attempt. The effort was his personal best as well. It was Hadadi's third successive Asian games gold, following victories in Doha and Guangzhou. He is also a silver medallist at the London Olympics two years ago. Iran's Ehsan Hadadi won gold with a best throw of 65.11m while India's Vikas Gowda took home the silver with 62.58m. (QNA)
