Qatar's Al Obaidli Reaches Last-16 of Qatar 6Red World Cup

Doha, January 12 (QNA) - Qatari player Ali Al Obaidli reached the last-16 of the Qatar 6Red World Cup, hosted in Doha until January 15 with 54 players participating. Al Obaidli qualified after winning two consecutive games in Group B. He expressed his delight at achieving the feat, saying it was even more special given the large number of highly-ranked players that are participating in this year's edition. He noted however that he had prepared well for the competition, and is confident he will give even better performances in the latter stages. The other Qatari five players were not as lucky today as they all suffered defeats. (QNA)
