Qatar's Coach Confident They Can Beat Syria Tomorrow

Basra, March 23 (QNA) - Coach of Qatar's football national team Felix Sanchez expressed Friday his confidence that his players can wrap up the friendly competition in Iraq and beat Syria tomorrow. He said tomorrow's test will be a good one, especially that a lot of fans will attend to watch the match. He stressed that his players will ready to play a good match and seal the fate of the competition. He added he focused on recovery sessions after the last match in preparation for the game against Syria tomorrow. He also said that the team has forgotten about the Iraq win and now looks forward to the game against Syria, a team they met in the World Cup qualifiers. Qatar's player Ahmed Fathi for his part said that the team is looking to make the most use out of the competition. He said that this can be done by improving chemistry, tactical discipline and awareness, as well as improving the players' match fitness. (QNA)
