Qatar's Hamad Al Marri Wins Gold Medal in Italian International Championship for Double Trap

Rome, July 09 (QNA) - Qatar's Hamad Al Marri won the gold medal in the Italian International Double Trap, after winning 78 out of 80. A total of 68 athletes participated in the championships and the silver medal was won by Khalid Al Kaabi from UAE, while Russian Vazli Muzan won the bronze medal, and Qatar's Masoud Al-Adhba finished sixth in the competition. Qatar's Hamad Al Marri expressed his happiness with his victory in these competitions, stressing that the competition was difficult, especially when competing with local Italian shooters. He also pointed out that the championship came at the same time with the camp set up by the Qatari national team in Italy to prepare for the upcoming Asian Games 2018 in Indonesia, adding that the victory he has achieved today is a product of benefiting from external participations and a result of the great effort exerted by the Qatari national team management, especially after signing with an Italian coach during the current camp period.
