Qatar's Musaeb Abdulrahman Wins Gold in IAAF World Championship

Luzern, July 16 (QNA) - Qatar's Musaeb Abdulrahman Balla continued his build-up to this year's IAAF World Championship in Beijing, China by clocking 1:46.91 minutes to win the men's 800 metres at Spitzen Leichtathletik meet in Luzern, Switzerland. Jama Aden, coach of Qatar athletics team lauded the achievement of Musaeb Abdulrahman Balla and wished him all the success at the upcoming diamond league meeting in Sweden. On the other hand, Jamaicas former world record holder Asafa Powell clocked 9.87 seconds to win the men's 100 metres. Compatriots Nesta Carter was second 10.06 and Kemar Bailey Cole third in 10.08 seconds. (QNA)
