Qatar's Youth Handball Team to Play Second Friendly Tomorrow

Doha, June 20 (QNA) - Qatar's youth handball team will play a second test with their Japanese counterpart on Thursday in preparation for the 16th Asian Men's Junior (U-21) Handball Championship which will be held in the Sultanate of Oman from 16 to 26 July, qualifying for the 2019 World Championships in Spain. On Tuesday, the team lost to Japan (21/22) in the first friendly match they played. The Qatari team will begin their external camp in Tunisia from June 24 until July 5. The team will play four friendly matches: two matches with Tunisia national team, and two others with local teams. The draw for the 16th Asian Men's junior (U-21) Handball Championship placed Qatar in second group, alongside Iraq, Palestine and Syria. (QNA)
