QFA Participates in AFC Social Responsibility Meetings

Kuala Lumpur, September 17 (QNA) - Qatar Football Association (QFA) participated in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Social Responsibility Program conference held over two days at AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Director of Marketing and Communication Department Khalid Mubarak Al Kuwari and Marketing Advisor to QFA Secretary-General Khalifa Haron represented QFA at the conference. The conference focused on social development through football, in addition to various topics including children and youth, integrity, education, social solidarity, health, charitable initiatives, social reform, and disaster mitigation. Following the conference, the 2018 Asia Dream Awards were held, and the experiences of national associations in the field of social responsibility were also discussed. QFA won the Asian Dream Award 2014, in recognition of its significant social responsibility efforts. QFA was also a candidate for the 2016 Asian Dream Award. Football Association of Malaysia won the 2018 award. (QNA)
