QMMF President Pleased with Qatar Superbike Performances

Doha, November 08 (QNA) - President of Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF) Nasser bin Khalifa Al Attiyah expressed Sunday his pleasure at the level of the third round Qatar Superbike Championship. The championship took place over the last two days at the Losail International Circuit. Some 51 racers took part in the championship this year. Speaking to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Al Attiyah expressed his delight at the high level of competition of the third round. Losail academy graduate Rajini Krishnan was giving strong performance so far after coming second in the second race of the super bike. The President of QMMF was also full of praise for Australia's Alex Cudlin, saying he was the strong favorites to win the championship. Cudlin is racing for a Qatari team and has already got two wins from two starts so far. Al Attiyah also highlighted the strong performances of Qatari drivers, particularly Mishal Al Naimi, Said Al Sulaiti and Fahad Al Sowaidi who shone through the first two rounds. Al Attiyah also lauded the strong attendance, which increases as the round progresses, and considered it one of the main reasons behind the ferocious competition this year. (QNA(
