QOC Participates in GCC Olympic Committees Chiefs' Meeting

Doha, April 20 (QNA) - Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) is taking part in the 28th session of the GCC Olympic Committees Chiefs which is being held in Kuwait. The QOC delegation to the meeting is chaired by HE QOC Secretary General Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, and includes President Qatar Swimming Association Khaleel Ibrahim Al-Jabir, President of the Qatar Sailing and Rowing Federation Khalifa Mohammed Al Suwaidi, and Assistant Secretary-General for administrative support Mishal Al Khalifa. Kuwait will host a series of meetings for ministers and senior officials of youth and sports affairs at the Gulf Cooperation Council to discuss beefing up bilateral cooperation. On Sunday, it will host the Executive Council of the GCC Olympic Committees Chiefs will hold its 72nd session. Then, the undersecretaries of the ministries of youth and sports will hold their 31st meeting, to be followed by the 28th session of the GCC Olympic Committees Chiefs. On Tuesday, the GCC youth and sports ministerial council will hold its 28th meeting. (QNA)
