QOC Secretary-General Meets IOC Delegation

Doha, September 12 (QNA) - HE Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) Secretary-General Jassim Rashid Al Buenain met Wednesday with Dr. Holger Preuss, member of the Sustainability and Legacy Commission of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and his accompanying delegation, which includes students from Johannes Gutenberg University, who are currently visiting Doha. At the beginning of the meeting, HE Jassim Rashid Al Buainain praised the cooperation between QOC and IOC, and its affiliated institutions. Holger and the accompanying delegation praised the sports development witnessed by the State of Qatar, noting that Qatar has a global sporting status, and the role played by QOC in promoting the Olympic movement in Qatar. The meeting reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation and ways to support and develop them in the coming stage. (QNA)
