QVBA to Organize Inaugural 4X4 Beach Volleyball Championship in February

Doha, January 30 (QNA) - The Qatar Volleyball Association (QVBA) is set to organize the Inaugural 4X4 Beach Volleyball Championship from February 21-22, 2015. The new event comes in light of the QVBA's strategy to promote beach volleyball in Qatar. In November 2014, Doha hosted its first FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Event. This event is a direct result of the directives of the new FIVB administration to expand the scope and the reach of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. The expansion significantly increased participation levels from more countries of the world that are developing pro beach volleyball programs within the framework of their respective national federations.
