Request for joint training in 3x3 basketball and para-taekwondo put forth

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Member of the Executive Council of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee Ch.Amarsanaa received delegates led by Deputy Governor of Yaizu city of Japan on August 6. During the meeting, Mongolian side highlighted the joint training being organized for freestyle wrestling and para-athletics athletes, and put request to partner in 3x3 basketball and para-taekwondo. In the framework of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Yaizu city of Shizuoka prefecture in Japan has been working in partnership with sports organizations of Mongolia since 2015, involving freestyle wrestling and para-athletics athletes in joint training annually. In aims of discussing partnership plans, delegates of Yaizu city works in Mongolia every year. This year, citizens’ representatives of the city visited the country to present the messages gathered during a campaign organized among Yaizu citizens to encourage Mongolian athletes.
