Russian athletes arrive in Baku to take part in the first European Games

Baku, June 11, AZERTAC The athletes and delegations of the countries arrive in Azerbaijan to take part in the first European Games to be held in Baku. On June 10, the group of the Russian athletes who are taking part in Games arrived in Azerbaijan. Athletes of the neighboring country at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport were met by the staff of Operational Committee "Baku-2015" and volunteers of the first European Games. By special buses the sportsmen were taken to the Athletes Village. Russia at the first European Games is represented by 360 athletes on all sports, except for track and field athletics, including 34 world champions and 7 Olympic champions.
