Salmabad, Zallaq qualify to KHK soccer finales

Manama, Oct. 5 (BNA): Salmbad Youth Centre and Zallaq Youth Centre qualified to the finales of the Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa (KHK)'s Outdoor Football Tournament for Youth Centres. The tourney is being held under the golden sponsorship of National Bank of Bahrain (NBB). The two teams qualified after beating Karranah Youth Centre and Sanad Youth Centre respectively last Sunday at the Khalifa Sports City's gym hall in the semi-finals in the presence of Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa president of the Bahrain Football Association BFA. Salmabad beat Karranah in the first match five-three. Zallaq beat Sanad five-three. The two teams will play each other on Tuesday. Salmabad was the first youth centre to qualify for the final match after overtaking its contestant Karrana in the first semi-final match five-three. Karranah and Sanad will meet on the same day to decide the third and fourth positions.
