SCYS chairman to patronise HH Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Championship

Manama, Apr. 28 (BNA): Under the patronage of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) and Honorary President of Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF), the late HH Shaikh Faisal bin Hamad Al Khalifa Arabian Horses Beauty Championship starts on Saturday at the Military Sports Association's racecourse. HH Shaikh Nasser said the federation is keen on organizing all the various events and competitions concerning horses, adding that this championship is one of the key championships which brings together equestrians fans and Arabian horses lovers in particular and blends the beauty and strength of Arabian thoroughbreds plus an additional aesthetic dimension to the competition. His Highness said the previous editions of BREEF's Arabian horses beauty championship were massively successful and attracted multitudes of the spectators, especially lovers of Arabian horses who were so keen on attending the competitions and seeing the genuine Arabian stallions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming that the federation is always keen on hosting these competitions and developing them in line with the huge development seen in various sports arenas in the kingdom. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa praised the response of all local stables out of their keenness on the successfulness of all competitions organised by BREEF which will continue to support the effective participation of the local stables in the championship.
