Shaikh Khalid's support to youth, sport sector hailed

Manama, May 29 (BNA): Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs Hesham bin Mohammed Al-Jowdar has lauded the efforts of the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in supporting the youth and sports sector in the kingdom. He said that Shaikh Khalid's initiatives has contributed significantly to developing such a vital sector, highlighting his keenness to support various sports practised by Bahraini youth. The minister added that Shaikh Khalid's patronage of the final qualifying round of the National Mixed Martial Arts Championship held at the Khalifa Sports City would have a positive impact and promote the sport across the kingdom. Al-Jowdar praised the excellent organisation of the championship.
