Shaikh Nasser welcomes victorious volleyball juniors

Manama, Sep 3 (BNA): After winning the title of the fifth GCC Sports Games recently held in Oman, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) yesterday received Bahrain National Volleyball Juniors Team members. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the team members, confirming their achievement is a result of HM the King's endless support which adds to Bahrain's sport achievements made under in the era of HM the King. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa urged team players and technical and administrational crews to maintain their achievement and to win more competitions. He stressed the BOC support for the team, which has promoted the good reputation of Bahraini volleyball. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said, "You are the future of Bahraini volleyball and we trust that you will attain more victories in future participations. Your abilities, skills and talents reflect the development of the Bahraini volleyball game witnessed in the past few years. We look forward to seeing the team compete in local, regional and international competitions." BOC General Secretary Shaikh Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa appreciated the support of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to the team. He affirmed that Bahrain Volleyball Association has set up plans to further improve the team performance to bring more successes. The team members thanked HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa for his support, which has contributed to the success achieved at the fifth GCC Sports Games.
