Shaikha Hayat congratulated on IOC award win

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): Supreme Council for Youth and Sport member, member of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Olympic Committee, Chairwoman of Women Sport Committee and President of the Bahrain Table Tennis Association Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa received more congratulations on winning the 2015 International Olympic Committee (IOC)'s Award for Women and Sports for Asia. Shaikha Hayat was congratulated by Shakha Khalid bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasmi, chairman of the Organsing Committee of the Women’s Arab Clubs Games hosted by Sharjah Club. "We are very pleased and honored for the victory achieved by Shaikha Hayat and winning the 2015 International Olympic Committee (IOC)'s Award for Women and Sports for Asia," said Shaikh Khalid. Shaikh Khalid noted that the award culminates Shakha Hayat’s long career of giving and serving sports movements in the GCC and Arab region, and stressed her hard efforts through her term as chairwoman of the supervising and follow up committee of the Women’s Arab Clubs Games in Sharjah.
