Silver and bronze medals grabbed at Turkish Grand Prix

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On March 28, the first day of the Judo Grand Prix 2015 being held in Samsun of Turkey, Mongolian D.Tomorkhuleg (66kg) won a silver medal. The same day, a "bronze" was grabbed by young judoka Ts.Tsogtbaatar in men 60kg. Samsun grand Prix hosted March 28 the matches of men 60 and 66kg, and women 48, 52 and 57kg. In the section’s finals, D.Amartuvshin (-60kg) was defeated by Russian Robert Mshvidobadze and was challenged against a Georgian in the penalty bout, which ended with a defeat. Meanwhile, Ts.Tsogtbaatar, 19, won the bouts against rivals from Turkey, Israel and Belgium. However, in the section’s final, he was defeated by Orhan Safarov from Azerbaijan. In the penalty round, he won the bouts against Ali Housrof from Yemen, and Robert Mshvidobadze from Russia, satisfying the bronze medal. As for D.Tomorkhuleg, he conquered feats over the bouts against Turkish Biser Sahin, Kazakh Ildos Zumakanov and Israeli Tal Feliker. He reached the finals by defeating Russian A.Abdulzaillov. He lost the final bout to Uzbek judoka, the twice bronze medalist of the Olympics and the World champion Rishod Sobirov.
